Privacy Police As a rule, you can view all of Klaus Müller Remscheid's websites (KMR) without having to disclose personal information. However, from time to time we do need certain personal details, such as your name and address, so that we can optimize our service for you. In these cases we will expressly draw your attention to this requirement before you access the pages. Right of Revocation You may at any time direct KMR to delete your personal data or to refrain from using it for contacting you. Data which are absolutely essential for processing an order will not be affected by any deletions you make. Personal data Pursuant to Germany’s Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), we are subject to a strict duty of care when processing the personal data that you provide to us online. Every time someone visits a KMR website, his or her visit generates site-usage data. This data is stored for backup purposes, but could conceivably also be used to identify the visitor (e.g. IP address, date and time, pages viewed). KMR analyzes its data for statistical purposes and to identify trends, but in doing so adheres strictly to stringent data-security standards. Our analysis of this data does not include any attempt to link it to individuals. Providing personal data to third parties We undertake to disclose your personal data to third parties only in the course of processing order data, e.g. online orders. Any associated service organizations that receive personal data from us for order-processing purposes are bound by the provisions of Germany’s Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and contractually by the relevant KMR guidelines. We will only store and/or disclose those data which are realy necessary. KMR will not disclose any other information – such as details you might have provided regarding your interests in specific events or subject areas – to third parties. In cases where required by law, including by court order, KMR will turn over the specified personal data to the authorized party. KMR will not turn over your data to third parties for any other purposes, unless it has your express approval to do so. |
